Jackson Hole

Seems like we have been super busy and always gone lately. Over the 4th of July, Matt, Cosmo and I drove to meet my family in Jackson Hole. We had quite the drive, but we had alot of fun. Matt drove the whole way and was a trooper. It has been a while since I have been to Jackson Hole, I forgot how much I loved it. It was awesome weather and we stayed in a nice, cozy condo. (much better than camping ha ha).

The first night we were there we went to a Chuck Wagon dinner and show. They guys in the show were pretty funny and the food was yummy and filling.

Second day we went Horse back riding in the morning. I have always loved horses and riding, but it had been a while. We thought we could handle 2 hours, but none of use realized how sore our little bums would be. Mine is still sore! That night we went to the Jackson Rodeo and had a blast. Bull riding and mutton busting is always a favorite to watch.

Sunday we went and explored Jackson, did some shopping, and saw a ton of wildlife. We saw Moose, Black Bear, and some Elk. If you know Matt and how much he loves that kind of stuff you can see just how much fun it was. The moose was a huge deal, he has always wanted to see one. It was like Christmas Morning ha ha.

Monday we had the long 12 hour ride home. Cosmo was pretty good but got a little antsy just like us. Of course as we got off the exit to finally get home our road was closed. We had to take the long way home and thought it was a night mare. We finally made it and are still getting re-settled in.

Matt officially started his 2nd year of Dental School yesterday and he is feeling really good about it. They are starting to work in mouth a lot more (instead of table tops) and he LOVES it. He came home after the first day and kept talking about how much fun it was. I am glad he likes what he is going into, and I know he will be an awesome Dentist.

For now we are just back in Portland, and back to real life. Summer is finally here and we are loving the sun! More summer adventures to come....
